The city of Boston offers much to do and see while you’re visiting for the MMA Annual Meeting & Trade Show. We’ve compiled the following list of attractions that are within an easy walk of the Annual Meeting & Trade Show locations. In many cases, you never have to step outside.

Boston Public Library

Hours on Jan. 13 and 14: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Founded in 1848, the Boston Public Library was the first large free municipal library in the United States. Complimentary tours highlighting the architecture of the designers, Charles Follen McKim and Philip Johnson, as well as the many works of famed sculptors and painters, are offered on Fridays and Saturdays at 11 a.m.

Christian Science Center

Visit the World Headquarters for the Church of Christ, Scientist, and tour the historic church or walk through the nondenominational Bible exhibit. The church is also home to the world-famous Mapparium, a 30-foot stained glass globe.

Frog Pond Ice Skating
Boston Common (Green Line, Hynes/ICA to Park Street)
Sunday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Friday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-10 p.m.
Admission: $4 adults; free for children under 13. Skate rental is $5.
Frog Pond has a concession stand, skate rentals and a warming area.
